Terms of Service
By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. What SquareDrop is
SquareDrop is a local platform that lets you order food from participating restaurants in Cobb County for delivery or pickup.
We are an intermediary. The restaurants prepare and sell the food; independent drivers deliver it. SquareDrop connects the three and processes delivery payments. We do not cook, and except where the law says otherwise we are not the seller of the food itself.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
- Don’t use the service unlawfully, interfere with it, or misuse other users’ data.
3. Orders, prices and payment
- Menu prices are set by the restaurant. SquareDrop displays them and does not add a commission to the restaurant’s price.
- At checkout you’ll see the breakdown before you confirm: food subtotal, delivery fee (delivery only), a SquareDrop platform fee, applicable tax, and any tip.
- Delivery is paid through our payment processor when you place the order.
- Pickup is pay-at-counter: you order ahead and pay the restaurant directly when you collect. SquareDrop charges you nothing for a pickup order, and the price you pay is the restaurant’s menu price.
- Tips for delivery go 100% to the driver.
- First delivery on us: on your first delivery order we pay the delivery fee, up to our base delivery fee (now $3.50). It is one per account and one per email address, including an account deleted and opened again with the same address. Pickup orders do not use it, and if that first delivery is cancelled or cannot be delivered, the offer is available again. We may end or change the offer at any time, including once a set number of customers have had it; an order already placed keeps the price it was charged.
- Cancelling: you can cancel an order in the app until the restaurant accepts it, and anything you paid is refunded in full, the way you paid it. Once the restaurant has accepted it, you can no longer cancel it.
- If the restaurant does not accept your order within 10 minutes, we cancel it and refund it in full. If the restaurant cancels an order after accepting it, we refund it in full as well. If you have disputed the payment with your bank, the bank decides what comes back for the card part.
- If something goes wrong with an order the restaurant has accepted, such as a missing or wrong item or a delivery that never arrived, report it in the app within 72 hours of delivery. A person on our team will write to you within 48 hours about what we will do to put it right.
4. Delivery and pickup
- Delivery is available only within our service area, and delivery time estimates are estimates, not guarantees.
- For pickup, please collect your order promptly. Because pickup food is made before you pay, orders that are not collected may be recorded as a no-show, and repeated no-shows may affect your ability to place pickup orders.
- You are responsible for providing an accurate address and for being reachable for a delivery.
5. Food safety and quality
The restaurant is responsible for preparing your food, for its quality, and for accurately describing allergens and ingredients. If something is wrong with your order, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll help resolve it.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t: break the law; harass drivers, restaurant staff, or other users; place fraudulent or bad-faith orders; scrape or copy the service; or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties we haven’t expressly made, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SquareDrop is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order at issue.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify SquareDrop against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these Terms.
10. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use after that means you accept them.
12. SMS Terms
SquareDrop LLC runs SquareDrop delivery texts: text messages between you and the driver delivering your order, passed through a SquareDrop phone number so neither of you sees the other’s personal number.
- What they are: messages you and your driver write about your open delivery (for example a gate code or “I am outside”), and our short replies about it. No marketing or promotions.
- Optional: customers turn texts on with the unchecked box when creating an account, or with the texts setting in their account, and can turn them off there at any time. Drivers turn them on with the box on the SquareDrop driver application. Texts are not a condition of ordering or of driving.
- Message frequency varies with each delivery. Texts pass only while that delivery is open.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text, or tell us in a text to stop, and texts are turned off for you on every SquareDrop number. Reply START to turn them back on. Reply HELP for help, or contact [email protected] or (470) 531-5688.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- How we handle your phone number and your consent to texts: see our Privacy Policy.

If you believe something on SquareDrop infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent with: your physical or electronic signature; the work you say is infringed; the material you say infringes it and where it appears on SquareDrop; your name, address, phone number and email; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
